College of Arts and Sciences – Psychology Department

The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami invites applications for up to two full-time, tenure-eligible, or tenure-track faculty member(s) to join our department’s Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience and/or Adult Division in August 2023. The specific area is open. Area(s) of focus could include, but are not limited to, basic research on affect, affect regulation, cognitive science, learning, memory, and/or mechanistic studies related to mental health issues or the impact of disparities. We are particularly interested in individuals who use one or more of the following methods to address these questions, including neuroimaging, lab-based experimental, computational, and/or mobile health/digital phenotyping. Individuals with interests in data science, including using advanced quantitative techniques, big data, and machine learning are also encouraged to apply. Priority will be given to outstanding scholars who will contribute effectively to both the undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring programs of the University.

The Department of Psychology is a vibrant community that includes clinical and psychological sciences faculty across Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience, Adult, Child, and Health Divisions. Applications will be considered at all ranks, with a particular focus on the Assistant Professor and Associate Professor level. Appointment is expected to start on August 15, 2023. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. (non-clinical or clinical) by the appointment start date.

Clinical Assistant Professor - Psychology Department 

The Department of Psychology at the University of Miami is seeking a full-time, Clinical Assistant Professor (educator faculty, non-tenure track). This position will also serve as the Assistant Director of the Psychological Services Center (PSC). The PSC is the internal training clinic for doctoral students in the Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program, which has been accredited by the American Psychological Association since 1966 and a founding member of the Academy of Psychological Clinical Science (APCS).
